Our “Alloy”

We build in the critical aspects of “good IT” into the systems we build. This is VERY important. You can’t “bolt on” security, reliability, or efficiency. We don’t sell “security” products, we sell products that are packaged, configured, and maintained to be secure. We recommend reliable equipment and configurations. Internal efficiency improvement is a constant effort as we seek to pass more and more value to our clients, and we love to pass on systems that are also quick and easy for them to use as well!

Security

Our security strategy can be broken down into three parts:

  1. Core Security Building on industry best-practices, we provide core security tools, such as one of the best endpoint protection products on the market, full-drive encryption on Windows and other devices, and very capable firewalls to protect your site networks.

  2. Securing People The next part of our strategy is considering the less-traditional security element - the humans using and administering the systems. End-user security training and well-defined permission roles across systems allow our users and our techs to do their jobs with confidence.

  3. Monitor the Systems Finally we monitor the status of critical protection components to make sure they keep doing their job and maintain correct configuration.

Reliability/Resiliency

It starts with reliable hardware and online services. We recommend business-class hardware to all of our clients. This doesn’t means extravagant, just solid.

Then we build your connections and configurations with as few single-points-of-failure as possible, and add end-user-initiated system healing.

Top it all off with solid data backup and business continuity systems, and you have a system built to handle the challenges that come its way!

Efficiency

We believe that efficiency can be best-promoted in two areas:

  • Client’s Time = Client’s Cost Interruptions, hard-to-use systems, and security compromises limit or destroy the value that you and your team work hard to develop. We want to remove those and even introduce you to new technologies that further enhance your team’s capabilities.

  • Our Time = Client’s Cost Too! We work with our clients to help make the best use of our time too! Clear communication, automatic ticket updates, client single-point of contact for IT issues (where it fits - we want everyone enabled!) all help keep our technicians focused on providing value efficiently.
